The story behind it all

Mare Alta Charters was born from a lifelong passion for the water.

It all started when my father, Todd Gray, and I spent countless weekends exploring the Chesapeake Bay on our first boat, docked in Annapolis, Maryland. Those early days taught me the value of adventure, family, and the freedom that only the water can provide.

Over the years, our love for boating grew, and so did our vision. We wanted to share that unique experience with others—the sense of peace, excitement, and connection to nature.

That vision led to the creation of Mare Alta Charters, where we now proudly offer luxury experiences aboard our two cherished vessels: the Sea Ray Sundancer "Mare Alta I" and the Yamaha 222XD "Mare Alta II"

Whether it’s a relaxing cruise on the Potomac or a lively celebration with friends, Mare Alta Charters is all about creating unforgettable memories on the water. Our family’s passion is now yours to enjoy—welcome aboard!
